Testimonials

  • “Harriet provided me with a lot of support and guidance whilst at university. She has extensive technical creative pattern cutting knowledge that was very helpful for me to understand how to translate 2D design into 3D form. Her help was especially valuable for me because I had a challenging project and she helped me in achieving my goals. She was also motivating me in my hardest moments with her positive attitude and good advice.”

    Laura, University of Derby

  • Harriet supported my studies during my time studying B.A Fashion Design whilst at Derby University. She provided thoughtful discussions which challenged our design and theory work to stimulate stronger arguments/ design ideas. Harriet is dedicated to her students, and was willing to work with students until our work was complete. She was extremely thorough and precise within her practical explanations, encouraging students to make notes and record demonstrations, to build up our own technical files. No question was ever a stupid question! I was always impressed by her practical knowledge; she always found a solution to every manufacturing challenge! I’m grateful for Harriet’s support during my time of study, as I learnt so much from her.
